Since 1955, Mid-Ohio Electric Company has been serving the
region with quality motor and apparatus repair. We have grown over
the years to service larger electrical and mechanical apparatus.
Our beginning in rewinding of AC and DC equipment
continues to the present day along with complete balancing services, plant
predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, large machine shop
capabilities, solid state control repair, in-plant service crews, and
year-round pump station maintenance.
In our experience, we have found that replacement
apparatus is necessary in the event it is not economically reasonable to
repair certain apparatus. Therefore, we represent many different
manufacturers and product lines. We stock
up to 150 HP AC on our shelves to help our customers return to production
quicker.
We have in our main bay a 10 ton bridge crane to handle
any size apparatus. We also have 5 other bridge cranes ranging in
size from 2 to 5 ton within our service center.
Our second and third generation of management is
continuing the same commitment as our founder, Robert Langhirt; to deliver
exceptional quality and service by a well-trained staff, in a timely
manner. We know that trust is the most valuable thing that we can
earn. Therefore, our goal is to develop integrity and mutual trust
with each customer.
Many of our dedicated employees, like many of our
customers, have been with us for 25, 35 and now almost 45 years.
